Cons

Weak, inexperienced and ineffective leadership. Management uses intimidation and disrespect to keep subordinates in their places. The wrong and unqualified people get promoted. No chance for advancement unless you sell your soul.

Quality products, smart customers, and reasonable work life balance.

-Compensation is well below industry average, and your "pay increases" will barely cover inflation, even while the company is posting record sales figures almost every year. Oh and don't even bother asking for a raise, because there is a great chance you will just be ignored… and I mean actually ignored. -You will have resources that haven’t changed from 1995 to get your job done, and then will be asked why you aren't doing more. You will get to bang your head against the wall wondering why a 2 minute task needs to take 2 days. -This company will find every loop-hole and "company policy" to not pay or provide for you. Reached 95% of your target sales numbers… “too bad you missed we didn’t want to cut your already pathetic bonus in half but we just had to”. Want that extra week of vacation? Not for you, you have to work a full extra calendar year because you started January 2nd instead of the 1st. And the list doesn’t stop there. -In my time at Mayr we went from 5 Regional Managers, to 2, many of whom I am still in contact with and they all say the same thing… leaving Mayr was the best decision they ever made.
