Pros
Maximus, Inc. has a high degree of job security for a private company, since it is a government contractor, and government jobs have among the highest job security right now. Also, it provides the opportunity to make a difference, and make money at the same time.
Cons
Among the downsides are the fact that in the Topeka office, Maximus pays much less than an identical job working for the State of KS would pay, which is why often the best Maximus employees end up leaving to accept positions with the State. Also, if you're not into being a desk jockey living in a cubicle, it may not be the ideal job for you.
