Pros
Very good entry introduction to various disciplines (HR, Call Center, Management). Most positions are hired from within, so if you perform, there is a chance you can move up into leadership roles.
Cons
The quality of experience vastly depends on what project and department you work in. Leadership is disjointed and often biased. Many departments like HR are desperately understaffed and do not have the resources they need to address the scope of problems within all of the projects. Salaries are also extremely uneven and the hardest workers are often under-appreciated and paid the least, while those who should be let go are kept on and given a higher salary. Policies enforced unevenly across projects. Those with good intentions who wish to address all of the inconsistencies in policies, rumors of favoritism, and complaints of unfair work environments, are at high risk of burn out as they are going up against an entire line of management set in their ways.
