DO NOT APPLY HERE - They will probably fire you several months later for breathing the wrong way. The company does not have HR on site - they are based in India. How can you expect someone based in India to know your rights as an employee in the US? They are nothing but a mouth piece for the owner and doesn’t believe you’re doing any work unless you’re sending over 100 emails a day detailing each breath you take and how that benefits the company. I was a temp working for them and yes, CA is an at will state but they decided to let me go after I didn’t consent to a $5 pay decrease. All of a sudden my work performance has not met their expectations when there has been no prior communication regarding this at all. In fact, even the recruiting company was surprised to hear this. I let the recruiting company know of this and they tried to negotiate with Mateo on my behalf only for Mateo to fire me the same day. The owner verbally abuses employees even though certain production issues are not their fault to begin with. If you are okay with being verbally abused, then this is the job for you! They hired a DOM, telling them that the budget to work with was large enough to accommodate any new advertising initiatives only for the department to find out the budget was actually under $1000 for the month. They let the department go before a month had passed for reasons unknown. They are wasting peoples time by interviewing them and telling them about a company that doesn’t really exist. The job descriptions are from pre-Covid and a lot of that has changed since then. Believe all do the reviews from this place because no one is lying. There are no disgruntled employees only people who chose to stand up for themselves.
