Pros
1. A few projects were cool to be apart of especially as the agency tried growing and branching out into different categories and verticals
Cons
1. First and foremost, the glaring absence of diversity within the current employee roster at MATTE Projects is impossible to overlook. In an era where inclusivity should be a fundamental pillar of any organization, MATTE's team composition raises serious concerns. It's alarming to see that the majority of employees that have been let go have been predominately people of color. 2. Growth is simply not a thing unless you're apart of the inner circle of C-Suite level friendships. You will never be promoted to another level unless you cultivate friendship's with C-Suite team members which others have already mentioned here. Its a white boys club and if you're not apart of that, then good luck. 3. Return to office is truly more of "return to a 1 bedroom studio apartment" in SoHo. There is ONE main conference room that ALL team members are able to book to use. Asking all your employees to return to the office when you have one bookable room because the second conference room is used by the CMO is laughable as a working space. 4. Leadership oftentimes becomes secondary clients by their requests and out of scope desires, wants and dreams. C-Suite level team members would often times speak down to women, POC and non-white employees which goes back to the "white boys club" mentality.
