Pros
If you're local to the area, it's a job with an easy commute? Smarter Masy employees have used it as a springboard to bigger and better biotech jobs. If you keep your head down, follow directions, and don't screw up, it's a somewhat stable 9-5 job. Many good people who try to care.
Cons
Companies like prove nepotism is a bad thing. Too many family members, and family of family members, and friends of family members, in roles that they probably wouldn't get hired for in a real company where mom and dad weren't in charge. They always say the company is a "family," only one family matters. They're not the only place like this, but beware, the family and old friends will be smarter, better, and more valuable than you will be. Incredibly resistant to change and new ideas. they always say "we've always done it that way." Unwilling to try new things. The lunch was OK years ago, but as the company grows it doesn't seem like they added more money for food or more help. Not much variety and portions and quality are bad. Options in Pepperell are limited.
