Pros

Their dumbo office is in a nice but inconvenient location unless you live in the area.

Cons

Avoid this company if you can. They fired me after less than 2 months of employment with no warning whatsoever. If anything they lead me to believe I was doing well, and then all of sudden one day I get a zoom invite to a meeting where management let me get with 0 explanation, it was so cold! In the interview process they will make you feel so valuable and tell about all the fun perks of working there just to draw you in, but in reality you are disposable to them and they will just replace you instead of help you to improve or at least give you an opportunity to improve. The CEO also told me in the interview to ignore the negative glassdoor reviews as they were all invalid. I wish I did not listen to him! At the time I had been given two offers and I wish I could go back and take the other offer that was given to me. If you are in the same situation, I advise you take the other offer and stay away.

Pros

- Small enough that everyone will know your name, but large enough to provide useful platform resources that come with a larger agency - Wonderful coworkers who are great teachers and mentors - Some challenging clients, but overall, awesome client roster ranging from EDU to fashion to beauty and more Mason taught me the skills I needed to grow in my career. I began as an intern curious about the industry and ended up staying for 4 years. Really loved my manager and team.

Cons

- Long days during busy season (Q4), but that’s every role in this industry. - Half of your team may be remote so you may still be on Zoom all day in the office - Fast paced environment (could be viewed as cons for some, but for me it was the challenge I was looking for when I began)

Pros

Free snacks and coffee. Office dogs. Nice view of Charlotte. Cool coworkers.

Cons

I had more than enough experience to hire me as a FT assistant analyst. Little experience in analytics, but 8+ years of experience in various useful areas like client relations, content creation, social media management, communications, etc. I switched areas since I got more into analytics. They put me in as an PART TIME INTERN for only $15. Not only was it incredibly insulting, but also very inaccurate for the position’s base pay in the area ($18). I had to take it since I was desperate trying to get my foot in the door. They didn’t even know where to put me: I started off with Paid Search, then Social, then GA4, Paid Media. There was unorganized training that very short and scarce. I asked my coworkers for advice all the time, I tried to train myself, do research, ask for help when I was done with tasks. Yet they FIRED me for “not trying hard enough.” I have screenshots, photos, and videos showing proof of training myself, asking, and constantly getting left in the dark. I have the whole offboarding meeting recorded. Management was inefficient and not vocal about problems. Several employees were burnt out, and I was told several others were fired or quit beforehand. They are constantly hiring which is always a red flag.
