YOU HAVE TO WORK. You can't just purchase a starter kit and wait for a million dollar check to arrive in a mail week later. This is a business venture like any other out there and if you do not work, you do not see the results you wanted. If you treat this as a hobby, you will get hobby results. On the flip side, if you treat this as a business and work it just as you would at your desk, in the office, you will get amazing results from it faster. In Corporate America, most people get paid salaries whether they do what they are supposed to during the day or not. They may take ten 15 minute breaks and still get paid for 8 hours worth of work. When you own a business and you are the boss, it doesn't work that way. You actually have to work that 8 hour day (if you are a full time Mary Kay Consultant or Director.) If you are starting part time, you work with your Director (Business Coach) who will help you get started. She will train, coach, mentor and motivate you to get you in this business where you want to be. If you decide to do it alone, it will take you a long time to see results, you will get frustrated and will eventually give up.
