Toxic work environment. Little to no morale or work culture. No holiday parties or events to boost morale within the company. Many people on staff have very negative attitudes. You will rarely ever hear anything positive, just everything you are doing wrong. Management will direct employees to work a certain way and tell them they are doing things completely wrong weeks later. Management makes no effort to communicate with employees on the state of the company, events being held, absences, or important meetings with clients. We frequently had clients tour the offices with no notifications from management, we even had a school field trip that no one announced or mentioned to the entire staff. Management places too many responsibilities on leads to communicate to everyone instead of doing it themselves. They also never let anyone outside the leads know when they are not coming into the office, making it hard to ask specific questions that required upper management to answer. Management creates unrealistic goals on projects they dont give enough hours for. Pressures staff to work harder and faster when deadlines aren't met (which is commonplace at this company). Micromanagement runs rampant here. The entire company runs on a scarcity mindset, they do not plan well long term. They will train new employees on what they need done instead of giving them proper training, which can leave you feeling frustrated and confused for a large majority of the training period. Leads don't provide adequate positive feedback for training new hires which can and will wear you down. There are many inconsistencies in what staff are told to do which creates unnecessary tension between coworkers. If you offer any ideas on how to improve workflow, be prepared to be shut down without any hesitation. As other reviews have stated, this company is ripe with nepotism. Family members and friends make up an unhealthy amount of people that work there. Should be a big red flag to anyone considering working here. You will be required to work a weekly nightshift once every few weeks which will affect your social life negatively. No 401k available until after 1 year of work.
