Pros
Many nice people who wanted to do their jobs well. Interesting work. Quarterly bonus. Summer hours and many people took vacation time to have Fridays off for a three day weekend.
Cons
The company overall seemed very unwilling to make changes that would make them more profitable and successful. There appeared to be no/few rules around pay ranges for employees in similar roles. There were some employees who were not pulling their weight or behaving appropriately, but their team's management was not willing to make the hard decisions about termination as they continue to be employed there. Some areas of the company had standard processes and followed them, while other areas seemed to have a "free for all" approach. Their MRP system was old and cumbersome. The company seemed to be firmly grounded in paper and paperwork, some of which is necessary, but some of which could have been avoided with better systems.
