Pros

MarketLauncher is innovative and a very fast-paced virtual environment! Even though we all work from our own homes there is a strong sense of camaraderie that exists between all team members. I have worked in several sales environments and office environments and never experienced team work to this degree. We all have a desire to always put our best foot forward and to represent our clients in the most professional manner while having fun along the way. MarketLauncher attracts the best of the best .

Cons

I honestly can't think of any cons ...I love my job, I love the people I work with, there is no dress code and I get to be at home when my kids come home from school. After working in the sales industry for 10 plus years, then taking time off to be "just a mom" ML has provided me an opportunity to reenter the workforce , use my marketing skills and talents, AND be a mom! Its the best of both worlds. My little Miniature Schnauzer is happy I am home with her all day too!

Pros

A few genuinely nice folks to interact with daily. The monthly office allowance is great if you're an employee.

Cons

No training at all aside from homegrown documentation with no version kept scattered all over the network. When you start you're told to reach out to people to obtain your own training and onboarding into your new position and given a list of first names with no titles or contact info. Lots of last minute must-do projects pop up once you're on your own and if you're a part timer with an hours cap that pressures you to work and not claim the time. Management turnover is very high. I had 4 or 5 managers in just over a year and a half. Unfortunately the director who takes over during the frequent vacancies is very difficult to work for and with. Personal issues preside. Working at ML is much more emotion-based than logic or process-driven. Pressure to have company email on your smartphone as a part time employee with flexible hours is strong. Contractors wait months for payment and there are frequent payroll hiccups for employees as well. Being able to work from home is touted as the be-all end-all attraction to ML but quite frankly that's just not new any longer or tough to find. My background is working for corporations with global business models and documented process and procedures. This is so NOT that--if you're looking for a position where you are rewarded for your contributions with fact-based performance ratings keep up your job search.
