Way more work than you will get paid for and no matter how fast you work it’s never fast enough. Non stop contact from sales reps who treat you like your the sales staff receptionist. Basically your job is helping every single department non stop all day long while your own work falls behind because the sales staff are the are the only people that matter here. You’ll have to spend an hour each week in a sales meeting listening to sales managers talk about culture and sports while you watch your order queues climb and stress you out even more. You’ll be thanked a ton for “being in the trenches” while they continue to buy other companies and find other ways to double the already impossible work load. Your job is to support every other department above your own while you continue to drown more and more each week.
