Pros
Cool vision. The company vision is to offer free daily stock news with a layer of analysis on their website, which is formatted like a news paper page, as opposed to a sales funnel for some dubious robo-advisor or other investment service. These guys just decided that they wanted to provide something of value to the public. Of course this business model will only work if they are able to scale their operations and drive enough traffic to their website - see cons. Back to the pros, the founders were cool. Hardworking types who know their stuff but maybe take on a bit too much responsibilities at times. I hope they can soon put together the team they need to succeed.
Cons
Because they haven't reached the target reach yet, don't expect anything amazing in terms of compensation. But if you are at a stage in your life where you can take the risk to invest your time in a start-up you should consider it. Again since they are a new company their processes are not without hiccups. We definitely had to do a lot of overtime when IT systems failed or whatnot. It was a fun team to problem solve with.
