Pros

Goes over board to make you welcome and wanted however this borders on the cult side where you feel awkward to even leave at the end of the day.

Cons

Where can I start? Kevin Spencer and his little inner circle of senior management people are so out of touch from the rest of the employees. The company lays on lavish multi million pound annual parties, xmas bashes, singing competitions to win huge cash prizes but wont give out a company bonus scheme? Why? The senior management like seeing the employees act as jesters at annual singing and dancing competitions. How can you give an employee 25k GBP prize money for singing well when maybe they are only doing an average job in their workplace?CRAZY!! Stop buying companies like crisp packets and concentrate on putting in place a proper company bonus scheme for employees and pay them more.Stop wasting money on monthly in-company magazine where the senior management generally rub there wealth in the noses of the poor little people at the other end of the company pay scale. Word of advice drop the parties, buying mulitimillion pound properties in London and Times top 100 guff, you may find you can actually save jobs. The benefits the company offer are a total joke, endless discounts off high st stores but nothing that will actually boost my salary, a derisory 22 days holiday with the option to buy 3 extra days is surely an absolute gimmick to help boost the Times Top 100 placings. A shelf stacker at Tesco gets more holiday! They say you can work from home but the reality is that this is not allowed and is frowned upon so another gimmick.

Pros

You get paid Only 1 day in the office

Cons

Everything else. We were taken over by markerstudy and at the time I thought maybe its a good thing. How wrong was i! Now im out and working for a different company which is amazing, I genuinely cannot believe how long I lasted at markerstudy. Managers have no clue on what they are doing. No idea how to use the systems at all nor basic insurance knowledge, if you are struggling with something dont bother asking your manager they dont know either. They lay off so much staff and so many people leave due to being so unhappy to the point there is hardly any people in one team which then creates a mountain of work and unachievable goals. They take all bonus' away from workers but higher managers keep there's. If you get a high score on your end of year review you can have a pay raise but then they take it away from you because theres to many people also got a high score. So many people complain at the meetings yet nothing gets done about it. You would think a company would want their employees to be happy which then boosts morale and creates better work but they just dont seem to care then wonder why they have a bad reputation in the industry.
