Ok salary, Reasonable working hours. No weekends

Heavily micromanaged. Lack of trust.

Good bunch of lads in the warehouse, no weekend work. They ask sometimes but won't pay you.

The work is easy but there's to many people in high positions that are clueless. The company has potential but with a high turnaround of staff it just seems like they have revolving doors, staff are leaving in droves for good reasons. There is no empathy in their decision making, it's the worst I've seen from any company I've worked for! You can have family dying at home but they won't care as long as your making them money and if you make a mistake you are punished severely. You're only as good as your last mistake in here! You're asked to do overtime and never get paid for it. The salary is nowhere near enough for what you're doing. DVSA and the health&safety executive would have a field day with this company, I can't see how or where they retain the tacho info for the truck and both the 3.5ton van and truck are, on most days leaving the yard over weight. I was never offered PPE even though I was told at the interview I would get it. I was also told at the interview I would get paid any overtime I worked, I quickly learned they would just lie to your face just to get you to do what they wanted. You are also responsible for the company insurance excess which stands at £1000 per claim, so if you have the slightest of bumps, or if the insurance company deems your accident to be a 50/50 crash the company will take £1000 from your salary in the next monthly pay period. If you are desparate for a job and have nowhere else to work then take it until you can find somewhere else. But be warned! Its a poorly ran company with nothing more than profits on its mind. You are just number!
