Pros

Ummm the location of the company headquarters in North Carolina is pretty...that's about the only positive about this company.

Cons

First off,not a disgruntled employee. This company is a JOKE. Run. Fast. At first they make you think you're an asset to their team, but the owner makes you feel incompetent and yells at you for literally nothing all of the time. The owner & sales trainer are such micromanagers. You're under a microscope all the time even if you're in a different state. The sales goals are unrealistic ($40,000/month) and that's not always easy in some states. Also that's a tough goal to reach when the products they sell are cheaply made from China and are so out of style. Some customers called the products "cheap or ugly" "I can find cuter stuff for a lot less somewhere else" They hire girls right out of college, so they don't know how a good company is supposed to run. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Neither to work there or to buy products from.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We love that our roots are in small town Washington, NC where MSC first began! We hire reps to expand our brand and to service existing accounts. Relationships and customer service are top priority for MSC. Since our reps work remotely and most are out of state, we connect through phone, email, and sometimes through our CRM. We are simply here to help reps be successful and feel prepared when in front of customers. Before hiring a rep, we analyze a territory to ensure there is enough business/potential to support a rep and the goals we have in place. We are open to candidates from various backgrounds and experience levels. Our compensation package includes several incentives for successful sales reps. This includes higher commission rates as well as bonuses based on meeting goals and opening new accounts. All of our product is designed in-house by our product development team. We have new product introductions 3-4 times a year which includes extensive market introductions. We work towards creating on-trend products with our own MSC twist!

Pros

It's great to be working for a company that is supportive in every way. They give you the tools you need to do your work efficiently and effectively. If you need assistance with something, any one would be able to help-whether it is a warehouse employee, a product designer, or sales director-we are all here to help each other to build a successful company to grow even more. It's very simple-if you do your job and do it efficiently, the job will reward itself.

Cons

We are a small company, but we are mighty! Sometimes one person has to wear many, many hats and it can be overwhelming at times. But with a supportive staff behind you, you will be able to accomplish any given task at hand!
