Pros

The organization’s mission is inspiring, and the work being done makes a meaningful impact. Many colleagues are talented, collaborative, and genuinely committed to the cause. The benefits are competitive, and employees have access to solid resources that could make this an outstanding place to build a career.

Cons

Unfortunately, the culture under the current CHRO has taken a very different direction. Instead of fostering growth and development, she has created an environment where the default approach is to remove people rather than support them. HR, which once had strong diversity and a supportive culture, has shifted into an exclusionary environment where fear and instability dominate. Employees often feel like they are “on the chopping block,” not because of poor performance, but because of inconsistent standards and favoritism. Certain employees are heavily scrutinized while others, often connected to favored networks, are protected. This has left many questioning the organization’s commitment to equity, while morale and trust continue to erode. Talented employees are leaving, and others remain under constant fear of retaliation.

Pros

Meaningful work with opportunities to use and develop your skills as an electrician. Competitive pay and benefits. Chance to work in a hospital environment with a variety of electrical systems.

Cons

Lack of transparency regarding shift expectations during the hiring process. Work-life balance can be challenging, especially for employees with families. Scheduling and communication with new hires could be improved. Promised opportunities and timelines may not align with the reality of the position.
