Pros
Rate of new center openings is appealing.
Cons
Very little structure of clear path for advancement. Over the first two years of a center you would expect a cohesive management team to form. What they have are managers with personal agendas who are jockeying for a favorable position taking precedent over everything else. Whatever mess they leave in their wake does not follow them and their promotion to a new location. I've seen managers sabotage other managers. Favor towards employees lasts only as long as the immediate need. Employees lured from good jobs at other companies with promises that are dropped when their immediate use is up. Managers career paths were woefully unequal. I saw a managers best friend hired and catapult past other tenured managers. You can tell your place in the pecking order by your shifts. GM has nearly all opens. The gravy shift with weekdays almost all office time. Those not in favor get all closes. Long and Busy with up to 10 hours on the move.
