MaidCentral is an innovative and growing company, however there is plenty room for growth. My experience was that their training is terrible - instead of having proper demo accounts to actually dive into the role, there are videos and they ask you to do task they can’t manage, management is terrible. The work environment is “we are all family” toxic. They expect you to REALLY train yourself (which is fine to me personally, I’ve over 5yrs of OB/ implementation spec. experience prior to MC) but I left feeling overwhelmed with just over a month of being there. After I communicated that I had an emergency, I had to use my accrued PTO and the following day, it resulted in me leaving the company permanently and they reneged on my PTO approval with no warning/ communication. No personal jabs here, just providing insight into their company morals or the lack of. So ask them their PTO policy prior to agreeing to employment, that was my mistake!
