A fresher from college when placed, is put into a skill and its training, based on random availability. That moment itself the fresher gets tagged to a particular technology irrespective of whether the fresher is keen about it, or, whether understanding, if the fresher is suitable for it or not. Inspite of getting trained on a technology, one is not sure if he/she will get a project in that technology Freshers in most cases work as shadow resources (in the technology they got trained or any other technology) Based on my experience, some of the freshers end up in job monitoring, ticket distribution, ticket monitoring, reporting roles initially, PMO roles and they rarely get a chance to work on the actual technology for what they are trained.
