They brand themselves as Safe AGI company but safety is never a priority. People usually work on weekends and holidays. There's a culture of apologizing if you have to take even a sick day off. People compensate by working on full Sunday (working on Saturdays is a norm) if they take a day off. De facto leads have no clue on best practices on research or building things. They hardly do any original research. Most of it is porting ideas from open weights models. No women employees except HR and office admin. They brand themselves as someone with no hierarchy and fewer processes but implicit hierarchy and processes exist which are much more rigid than organizations deemed bureaucratic. And it's only getting worse.
