Fast Paced Mission Driven - Chief Operating Officer MVLE Employee Review

Always put the interests of the individuals in our programs first! I had the pleasure of working at MVLE for the past six years. While my day to day job was not directly involved in our programs and services, I still had the opportunity to engage with the individuals we served. It always brought such happiness to my day to participate in a movement therapy class or check on the garden in our MVLE Farms program. MVLE gave me opportunities to grow in my career and take on new responsibilities outside of my job description. I view this as a benefit to work somewhere that encourages it's employees to grow and develop new skills.

Similar to other organizations in the disability industry, MVLE is facing a time to innovate and grow. That is challenging to do in this environment, but it provides an opportunity for staff to step up and take on new responsibilities and challenges.

Great office environment to work in, all toward a good cause. Everyone is truly working toward the same goal, and the organization has great community partnerships.

Like any not-for-profit group, resources can be limited at times. Also a small office which can mean employees are stretched thin.
