Pros
Good people. The mission was/is a good one. There's a lot of creativity - by necessity. Main office environment is good, not so much with the outlying offices. Thrift store was excellent. Great management.
Cons
Pay is good at upper levels, poor at lower levels. Benefits need work, and creativity. Communications between management and staff could have been better while I was there - in both directions. HR guy was really good. Easy to talk to and solved a lot of problems. Most of the Directors were good people too and did a lot with the funds they were given. Not much opportunity for career advancement, tho there was some. Burnout was a problem in some areas, not at all in others.
