A rewarding place to work - Anonymous employee MSM (NY) Employee Review

The people are amazing, from top down they care about what they do. Never been around a bunch of people that are in sync trying to achieve the same goal. Collaboration is happening everywhere. The pay is good with lots of PTO. The owner is constantly doing things for the employees (extra PTO, lunches, gift cards, etc). There is a software program that's only purpose is for employees to recognize one anther for great work or going above and beyond. This give employees points which can be spent in an online store. We also produce some amazing spaces, it great to see a design come to life and to get to touch and feel it.

It's not the about the company as much as it is about the industry. There are hard and fast deadlines that need to be met. In addition you are working on several projects at once, making it very fast paced. If you thrive in that kind of environment, you will love the industry and therefore the company. If you like stagnant, every day the same and mellow you probably will not like this business.

My experience working at MSM has been fantastic! To be clear, it is not for those that want to just work a boring 8-5 job, do the bare minimum, and not be challenged. This is a dynamic fast-paced, growing company, that provides significant growth opportunities to to all employees. There is very low turnover and many of the employees have been with the company for 10-20+ years. The work is exciting and fun, not two days are alike!

I can't think of any real downside to working at MSM. The one thing I would say is if you are someone that wants to grow your career, engage with amazing brands, and be challenged to continuously improve and develop, you should keep an eye out for job openings!
