If you are considering an internship or a "Trainee" role here, please read this carefully before signing your offer. The "Shadow" Mentorship: You will not be mentored by experts; you will be supervised by "enablers." Many senior employees have abandoned their technical skill sets in favor of "buttering up" Directors and Tech Leads. You will learn more about office politics and "spying" than you will about actual industry standards. The "Yes-Sir" Trap: You will be pressured to follow arbitrary, non-company rules. If you show high performance or independent thinking, you will be viewed as a threat by the "clan" of relatives and favorites who rule the departments. Burnout & High Turnover: There is a reason so many interns leave mid-program. The environment is built on surveillance and "shadow monitoring." You may even be asked to monitor your peers—do not fall into this trap. It ruins your professional reputation before you’ve even started. You might be pressured to leave 5-star reviews on social media or Glassdoor to "support the team." This is a lie. Genuine career growth happens through merit, not by participating in a fake reputation-building campaign for toxic managers.

Pros

There are some genuinely talented people across the company, and I had the chance to work on interesting projects in real estate

Cons

The way restructuring was handled felt cold and transactional. Employees were told their roles were ending, but were still expected to keep working through a long transition period, document everything they know, and complete extensive knowledge transfer requirements. Severance was tied to broad conditions and final approvals, which made the process feel less like support and more like leverage. What made it worse was the tone. Leadership messaging talked a lot about respect, dignity, and the future, but the actual experience felt very different. It created a real sense of betrayal, especially for employees who had spent years contributing, adapting, and going above and beyond.
