Pros

None; nothing positive to say.

Cons

I recommend working for a company that cares about it's employees. This company does not, and excersises it's at will status with prejudice. The company does not accomodate their employees, they do not replace people when they get rid of them or they quit, instead they will try their best to make you perform extra work outside of your role. This company expects you to use a personal vehicle instead of one provided by the company; additionally you will be denied a company vehicle, while being expected to have unlimited miles on your personal vehicle, even if you told them your limitations in that regard. You're better off going somewhere else unless you like a fake team environment where everyone eventually turns on you. No diversity here, and you have to wait 6 months for any benefits but the benefits package is a joke, they pay overtime with PTO which you can't get until after 6 months so they just force you to immediately take a day off your schedule so they can have you do whatever they need. This is not a professional company, your manager will be working for other departments and have no idea how to run your department and they fail their leadership role. Their clients don't like the company, the clients will yell at you about it and they actively go against the advice of MHD, while MHD blindly supports the customer with no regard for security. Lastly, you're supposed to be able to get support from your coworkers, but it's really like asking questions to a group of frat people, they're slow, they rarely if ever give good or useful advice and will for the most part ignore you or blatantly help someone else. Be ready to be blindsided when working for this company, any kindness or positivity is fake and you should always be wondering what's going on in the shadows that they aren't telling you.

Pros

I've been here for a while, seen a lot of good people come and go, and this place has a real knack for pulling in great people in. This place will run you down if you let it, but at the same time it's very fulfilling to see how your work effects the masses. A lot of people will speak negatively of management, but in all my time here I've never had an issue. As the headline suggests if you put in the work this place will be very rewarding, and to me it has been. Don't let some of these comments scare you away from giving this place a chance. If you're a handworker you won't be sorry.

Cons

This can be said about any MSP, but when you treat your customers like they actually matter it's like having 50 different bosses, and that can get a bit hectic sometimes. Also I miss comp time :c

Pros

I worked at MHD for about four and a half years before I left for other opportunities. The people I worked with and the skills I learned made just about every moment memorable. The company is stuffed to the brim with those willing to help you learn and answer questions you may have. The work culture is a lot of fun and people enjoyed joking and making sure people felt like they had a space to vent (big shout outs to the service delivery manager for having a big part in this). A lot of reviews talk about micro management or about executive leadership but a review never tells the full story. The CEO and I didn't always see eye to eye but most of the time, that was just me overstepping without realizing it. He's a good guy and I'd work for him again without much second guessing. MHD will check you if you're being stupid but it will also really grow you if you're looking to grow and you have the appetite for it. I look back fondly on my time there and learned many, many valuable lessons.

Cons

No job is perfect and MHD is the same, there will always be things that happen that bother people or are frustrating. Smaller companies can change very rapidly in short periods of time and if you're good at what you do, you'll get more responsibility and may often find yourself wearing multiple hats. Some people view this as a bad thing but personally, it made things more fun. Its easy to burn out in the MSP world in any position, so expect times where things are crazy and you have to step in and help in ways you might not have expected.
