Pros
Really felt like I was listened to and that my suggestions to higher-ups were taken seriously. The office I worked at had a policy where you could work 9 hours a day and take every other Friday off, very nice benefit. Medical and other benefits were very good too, including a good 401K. Sick days and vacation days are lumped together into PTO days; this means that if your not sick, then it's as if your vacation days add up fast.
Cons
Since it is a government contracting organization, there is always the fear that the contract might not be continued, or that additional contracts may not be able to be acquired for future work.
