The history of Maersk is what gave me the sense that I was working for a great company.
Cons
The Southgate facility has a hostile environment due to the temporary agency Maersk uses-there were numerous physical altercations, use of drugs and alcohol which was extremely concerning, though the temporary agency would send the same individuals back the next day. The front offices and break rooms are stellar in cleanliness with nice offices and cubicles, while the interior of the warehouse is overlooked and is in poor condition. There were no offices or computers in place for the AOM's, the warehouse bathrooms were the worst I have ever seen. Walls painted black due to the continual gang tagging, my first week-raw sewage overflowed from the men's bathroom onto the warehouse floor causing employees to walk through it and the smell was horrific.
