Pros
Creative environment with the ability to be exposed to creating very much conceptual architecture into reality. depending on the turn over rate, people in the office generally become close due to spending so much time together. also note that career opportunity is high but mostly because of reputation on the CV after leaving the office, not meant for career opportunity within the office.
Cons
The realities of architecture in Beijing (or anywhere in china) is that no CD means you wont really learn anything past the DD stage. its ok for fresh grads and architects that like to think only in the conceptual realm. but this kind of environment wont really be accepted elsewhere. hours are extremely long and are UNPAID, expectations and demands for this kind of environment comes in a very passive aggressive manner with employees accepting it perpetuating the cycle of working these hours with not much left for personal time. something that people will most likely not want to say is that the reality is that the office is also located in Beijing, and overall is simply not a pleasant city to be in. has a huge effect on life quality.
