Pros
Leaders at Lumin Digital truly care. As a bottom-up company, people managers are servant leaders, not autocrats. While the company must balance important requirements like cybersecurity and regulatory compliance to operate in the financial services industry, the way it does so enables individual contributors to experiment, innovate, and create some truly great ideas that evolve into significant products and services. It's remarkable to see what trust, respect, and boldness can achieve when combined with accountability and empowerment.
Cons
As a 100% remote company, I value the time we have the opportunity to get together in person. Frankly, this isn't so much a con as an acknowledgement that if you thrive with in-person experiences and office culture, Lumin probably would not be a great fit for you. For those who are most successful in setting their own rhythms, that's the vibe of this company.
