Pros

Collaboration within cross functional teams are good; process, labs and counterparts.

Cons

- Bias gender, religion & race promotion. - Favoritism. Overloading engineers that are not in favored. Not favored engineers are always fine-picked on small petty things and especially micro on small errors or weaknesses. Rather than looking and acknowledging their strengths. - Many hidden personal agendas & very political played by a single veteran manager to promote herself. - Abusive, bully & manipulative toxic culture; especially created by a single veteran manager. Engineers are always tested not on performance but rather whether they are loyal and/or pleasing enough. - Leadership-style: micro-manager and a not a peacemaker but rather more of a trouble-maker style. - Engineers always work in fear everyday and worrying how not to offend or to please the higher veteran leader. - Customer quality engineering transferred over to reliability engineering. - Collective feedback from ex/current: Rel. Eng, Techs, CQE, QA, PMO, PD, TPL, KBG.

Pros

The people. Most of the people are kind and wanting to move the ball forward. The time flexibility. The management team recognizes that they don't have alot to offer financially - but work life balance is free. They allow different work hours, a degree of remote flexibility, and a generous vacation benefit. Safety of the employees and eliminating hazardous activities/situations has always been a high priority.

Cons

It's not terribly inspiring. Working for a struggling company which is forced to make the hard decisions is not uplifting. The future at this location is pretty bleak at this exact moment. The last merit increase was in 2022. Therefore we're all working at a 15% discount based on cost of living changes.
