Pros
Hard working middle management Work from home opportunities
Cons
The company expanded to multiple new markets for 2023. Because of departmwnt heads poor marketing and product design, sales were Is extremely poor this past AEP. The sales teams went above and beyond to get as many sales as they could, but the poor plan designs and awful marketing, did not allow for more sales. Lumeris just laid off dozens upon dozens of people. When a company expands into new Medicare markets, there should be sufficient funds to keep all teams in place the 1st year. This was not the case and many people were laid off in January 2023. My biggest concern with this, is so many people were laid off and no one was given a severance package. In fact, people weren't even given a 2 week notice. I do not recall the last time that I have heard of accompanying that did not provide severence to employees that worked real hard and it was out of there control as to poor sales numbers. Even the big tech. co.panies offered packages wirth many weeks of their salaries. While I worked at the company, there were meetings upon meetings discussing how to make the company a great place to work. I always appreciated working at a company that prioritized employee satisfaction. Its actually sad and hurtful, when the company lays off so many people and provides no notice and no compensation to thank them for the hard work they put into the company.
