Pros
Ludia is a good place if you seek a good work/life balance.
Relaxed work environment with small teams where you can get to know each other and have a say in the direction of the game.
Many nice perks like free nearby gym membership, many launch parties, free online tutorials, salad lunch every two weeks, fruit, bread, coffee and tea.
Nice studio with plenty of break opportunities like a ping pong table, pool table, games room and a super nice lounge.
3 weeks vacation plus a week off during the Christmas holidays.
Cons
Salary. They like to say they offer competitive salaries but I think they mean this as competitive with start ups to small companies. Simply put underpaid talent will move to where their skills are paid appropriately no matter how nice the perks or work environment may be. This simply isn't about being slightly less pay but significant to the tune of 10k+ lower than average. Unfortunately the annual reviews where raises are issued don't improve the situation much. Expect raises of 2-3% of your already low salary.
Promotion is very difficult and in some ways probably done so to not offer a higher salary.
Technology used in the games makes it very difficult to get the desired results.
Projects vary but in general majority of projects are not challenging to work on or impressive enough to add to your portfolio. For some projects you may find your talent going to waste.
Too few sick days.
