Pros

Initially, the pros were great coworkers, wine and flexible schedules.

Cons

The company had a period of growth and stability until much of the upper management team left (seemingly not of their own accord). Their replacements were mostly incompetent sycophants who were tied up in the CEO (Kevin Fortuna)'s other business ventures. With most of the leadership also working for these other companies, chaos ensued at Lot18 as there was very little guidance or support. The CEO is a nightmare, alternating between ignoring the company then trying to micromanage everyone whenever he has a pet project or "great" new idea. He also outright lies to people. Multiple now-former employees were told their futures were secure at the company, or they would be promoted into leadership by the CEO and laid off shortly after. Do not believe a word he says. If he's making vague promises about your growth at the company, it's time to look for a new job. New employees churned in and out, some weren't even given working computers when they arrived. Multiple executives referred to the customers as "stupid." The CEO kept firing dev leads, finally installing a young dev without leadership experience then pushed the team to launch a nonfunctional new website that caused a huge loss in subscribers further exacerbating financial woes. A seemingly endless series of lay-offs throughout 2020 gutted middle management. Contacts who are still at the company have shared it is even worse now.

Pros

Great work culture. I feel at home here, and the ability to taste different wines daily is a plus. The people here are very intelligent, good at what they do, and friendly. Frequent, fast-paced learning and growth opportunities.

Cons

Long hours (typical of any start-up though) Missing a lot of infrastructure, so some teams have difficulty balancing day-to-day tasks that could (and probably should) be automated with the long-term projects that will help the company grow. High turnover in recent months, but that seems to have calmed down.

Pros

Flexible, remote position, travel and working along side amazing talent

Cons

C level had a difficult time steering the dedicated course. Ran out of money with frequency and unfortunately continued to devalue with discounts.
