Pros
-stable work schedule -stable pay checks. -good learning enviroment -learn new skills -learn about the oil field, test separators and pump trucks. -interface wjth a lot of people, companies and such. -learn to adapt to an ever changing enviroment. -great team building place.
Cons
-no set pay schedule, you are often stuck at a singke rate of pay until you advance to a new positional title. -favortism runs high here, if ypur not a favorite. You dont get the perks. -unable to transfer out to other jobs in thr company. Excuse is your deemed 'Critical staff'. -Advancement is extremely slow and based off favortism/skill depending on how your considered. -things are always changing and personal promises for pay and other benefits from management should be taken at face value. -dont expect a raise. -very easy to get a target on your back. Especiallt if they think your 'leaving the team'. -get the experiance you need and move on. Dont stay more then two years. You will only hurt yourself waiting for promises that will NEVER come.
