Pros
I would say the only pros is I could work with children. I missed them.
Cons
The brand markets their education system as "one-on-one", "personalised", "fun and creative" but none of these is true! Teachers are required to handle at least 2 at the same time. And some handle as many as 10 at the same time. All of these while each student is taking different subjects and at different levels. We could only "touch-and-go" for each students. As an educator myself, I felt great stress when I couldn't teach the topic in depth and help the students. My centre even stopped following their input output system because it was not working at all. On top of that, their female founder taught us how to lie to parents when parents questions our teaching system. She told us to build dividers between classrooms and reception so parents can't see what happens (cuz we don't follow one-on-one). Teachers needed to lie to parents if we wanted to increase our sales. Last but not least, before they hired their new R&D, they used to copy contents from other established publications (like PETER and JANE). It was so obvious we had to question them. Yet we were gaslighted by the female founder, forcing us to lie to parents again cuz we didn't know how to explain. Nonetheless, the founders are cruel and selfish. My company is left to survive on its own because we are not making enough sales to impress them. They even allowed other branches to open so close to our location, causing us to lose our students. I quitted eventually because I cannot bear to lie and lie again!
