Pros

The staff, while constantly rotating, was great. Friendly people who had your back. Food was great and it was a trendy place to work.

Cons

The GM who interview/hired me was fired on my first day work. That should have been my signal to leave. The management there was blatantly racist, only asking POC to do the dirty work. The worst was when they took the lid off of the sewer in the alley and didn't put any signage up. One of the SA's fell into it and was knocked unconscious. They pulled him out and put him in a taxi to the hospital. A few days later he returned to work, and they refused to pay him for the hours he was recovering. Instead of thanking their stars he hadn't sued them, they just tried to screw him over again! Absolutely ridiculous.

Pros

You get to eat all of the food, before starting on the floor. Great clientele, most of the time. You learn so much about the Chicago restaurant scene.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve. It is a very competitive environment, and keeps you on your toes. Don't share company info, even simple things. They frown on that.
