Pros

This is a manufacturing job, so long hours and a lot of standing are just part of the work. Pay and job conditions are explained in the contract, so there shouldn’t be any surprises. If you understand what you’re signing up for, it’s a decent place to work. This job is best for people who are okay with physical work and long shifts. If that’s you, you’ll likely do fine here.

Cons

As a seasonal worker, I was surprised by how I was treated by some long-term permanent staff. A few situations made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. One day during my lunch break, I was sitting in the canteen when someone asked me to move because I was “in their spot,” even though there were no names or labels on the tables or chairs. A similar thing happened in the bag storage area. There’s plenty of open space and no assigned spots, but I later found my bag thrown on the floor because someone felt I had taken their place. Since these areas are first come, first serve, this behavior was unpleasant and unnecessary. It felt like some long-term staff claimed shared spaces as their own, which made the experience unpleasant as a seasonal worker.
