Pros

Nice coworkers, ability to work from home, you may have a good manager (depending on who you report to), due to understaffing issues you often have the opportunity to work cross functionally and gain experience in other areas

Cons

Upper management has no concept of how much time it takes to complete a quality deliverable, they are more concerned with FTEs. Unrealistic promises are made to clients and project managers are left to handle the fall out with very little support from upper management who made the promises. Employees are given unmanageable work loads with no relief when asked. Unqualified employees are hired/promoted over other more qualified/harder working/longer tenured employees because they are friends/family with upper management or because they have learned to play the game to climb the ladder. Opportunities to attend outside training are rare. Pay is not up to industry standard and they hire on promises for pay increases and/or promotions that will not happen. An acquisition occurred and the acquired company came in and took over . Former Employees of the acquired company and new hires who are friends with upper management are allowed to work remotely yet long time Accelovance employees are not afforded the same options. The benefits are few and health insurance costs are very expensive compared to industry. Employee concerns are not heard and are treated with a "there's the door" attitude.

It is true Accelovance has been undergoing significant growth over the last 2 years, and during times of growth it is not unusual for enhancements in previous processes and structure to require new means of working collaboratively.
