Pros
Helping patients in need has to be one of the greatest parts of the job. (Will list the cons to that below). If you get a good center, you know that anyone that makes it with lincare is a reliable and hard worker. If you can make it past the 6months - year that it really takes to get comfortable in your position, you can really get into a groove.
Cons
Patients (here it is) the ones you get that are phenomenal and make your job worth having are few and far in between but when I get a call that my 28 year old patient needs her oxygen picked up because she had a successful lung transplant, that helps me to believe that lincare is going to be a part of the success story that she tells. However, that said, work loads are extremely heavy. If you don't like working overtime and putting in more than your job description, this job is not for you. Lots of phone time, lots of problem solving (good thing and bad thing) and a ton of work. But if you like a challenge, this is the job for you.
