Pros

The managers might be nice.

Cons

Lifetouch as a company does not value their photographer staff. You have to wake up incredibly early to drive to the far corners of wherever you work. Just so you can be ready to take school photos by 8 am. Usually the sales personnel allows the school to schedule too many kids, and the photographer has to stand there for 3 hours straight or more taking photos. The equipment, depending on how old it is, malfunctions a lot. And the setup only looks good when kids sit or stand in very specific poses - which depending on the age of the kid is next to impossible.

Pros

Great Sales Team. Remote based position.

Cons

-Losing out to competitors has become acceptable or business as usual. -Management has become out of touch with what is going on in the field. -Outdated Photography equipment. -There is constant turnover with photographers. Difficult to keep good people when they are not paid well & have no structure. -Company is very reactionary. Making cuts seems to always be their answer to solve low profits.
