Pros
The people you work with are great. There is plenty of room for advancement as the turnover is high. New departments are constantly opening. Impossible to get fired. Corporate store visits.
Cons
Terrible management. No one in the management team has any actual idea of what the future will hold. Several of them act like politicians and would rather lie to you than tell you they don't know. Bad employees/managers never leave because none of the managers are willing to have the hard conversations. We work as a contractor on a major campus that is full of people who will treat you like less than a human. The hours are unpredictable and are dependent on business. You will know your schedule just one day in advance, however it typically doesn't change drastically. The starting wage is low, but raises are given out every year. Hard work is appreciated less than rubbing shoulders with your direct report. The list goes on.
