With them not being a big major corporation, the family environment is fostered as far as time off and other benefits. Regular company celebrations are held often to celebrate our successes and discuss any challenges. The employee discount is incredibly generous as well. New warehouse is worlds better than previous work conditions
Cons
Fostering a 'family environment' often comes with the negative side effect of job descriptions not aligning with actual duties, and it sometimes feels like leadership takes advantage of this. There is also limited to no care for employee growth, and cost-of-living increases are non-existent, regardless of skill level. There are weekly support team meetings with upper management and executives. They always start it with sharing something good. This has turned into a bragging corner by higher management of how they are travelling the world and doing all of these fun activities while most of the warehouse and others who read these updates are struggling paycheck to paycheck. It is completely tone deaf in this current economic environment. I know I am not the only person within the company to share this sentiment. Also hearing that one of the owners had to quarantine on Hawaii during covid? That was weird.
