Pros

Lexipol has a meaningful mission, and the work itself can feel rewarding when you're helping public safety agencies improve their operations. Middle management — particularly direct managers — are incredibly supportive and do their best to advocate for their teams. There's a solid foundation of smart, hardworking people who genuinely care about the mission and each other.

Cons

The biggest issue lies in the uneven distribution of territories. Some SDRs are given territories that are significantly easier to book in, while others face regions with more resistance and less opportunity. While this imbalance is known and has been acknowledged by leadership, it has yet to be meaningfully addressed. Instead, SDR performance is judged solely by activity metrics, without considering the difficulty of the territory or quality of outreach. This leads to a culture where quantity is prioritized over strategic effort. The pressure placed on both SDRs and Account Executives is intense, and the result is a team that often feels burnt out and low-energy. Middle managers are doing their best, but they’re clearly under immense stress themselves, which limits how much support they can realistically provide. Overall, the pace and expectations leave little room for balance or being treated like a human with a life outside of work.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and concerns. It is always our goal to ensure a supportive and motivating environment for all our staff, and we take all feedback seriously as we consider how to continually improve. It is certainly true that we have gone through substantial changes here at Lexipol, as we adapt to ensure our business continues to make the greatest possible impact. As an organization, as you mentioned, we have the privilege and responsibility of literally helping to save lives through policy, training, and wellness solutions that support public safety leaders, professionals, and agencies. With such an important and valuable mission, we are committed to continuously improving our operations to strengthen this impact. As the company has embraced our culture of Serve, Collaborate, Own It, Innovate, and Empower, we have continued to seek opportunities to optimize our operations across all departments, including our SDR teams. That said, we always strive to do this in a fair and incremental way, supported by technology improvements, process improvements, coaching, and a dedication to supporting our staff. As we have increased expectations, we have also improved compensation plans above industry standard for SDR roles, created in-role promotion paths and a certification program for SDRs to be eligible for promotion to Sales roles, and have kept activity targets below industry norms to ensure we are growing carefully. With the recent acquisition of LEFTA Systems in 2024, we did expand our footprint into new a new product set, which requires us to grow in new areas where we traditionally have not engaged. We understand this is a new challenge for all of our GTM teams, and we put in an extremely rigorous process at the end of 2024 to ensure all territories had equitable opportunity to attain goals, though the product mix does differ by territory and vertical. We’re very proud of the work we are doing to improve the onboarding and training of new hires, and the support and tools we provide to the full team, and we continue to remain focused on one thing: Getting our solutions in more hands of first responders who need them. That said, we know we can always improve, and we will continue to review feedback to inform our decisions.

Pros

The people you work with are mission driven. Truly helping first responders.

Cons

1. Leadership not tenured long at all. 2. Leadership are not mission driven people at all but claim to be. 3. Lot of leadership turnover. 4. Became very political. 5. Everyone right now is CYA and brown nosing. 6. No job security at all. Will hire and fire without cause. VERY high turnover. 7. Companies reputation is going down. 8. They are eliminating sales people currently, so if you get hired as one, its temporary to build pipeline and close.

Lexipol has experienced significant leadership and organizational change, and we understand that can create uncertainty. Those changes are intended to strengthen the company, and building trust through communication, accountability and consistency remains a key focus for our leadership team. We also want to be clear that employee performance and development are supported through established performance management processes designed to provide coaching, feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
