Pros
Not a lot of expectations required to get a good review.
Cons
I've been at Leviton for over 6+ years now at the Network Solutions, Bothell, Washington location and things are getting worse here. We're like an airplane without a captain as pilot or a co-pilot. For starters our strategy is just short term, modeled to fight fires or slap a band aid on it. Not only that, the strategy or whatever you want to call it tends to change often based on the sudden mood changes of the VP/GM. We seem to by trying to position ourselves not as industry leaders but to be 3rd or 4th best in the industry. How can we survive with that strategy? Also the once friendly work environment is no longer here anymore. At times, it's just depressing working here because of the disarray. People around this division don't want to offer suggestions for fear of being called out or ridiculed in meetings. Turnover in some groups is never ending like the Supply Chain group. The morale in many groups has declined. Good people have either left the company or being pushed out thanks to the Director of Operations. Some with over 20 years of good service. This is no way to build a happy & loyal team. The mindset here seems to be old school, like before pc's and laptops were ever used. The people who join from previous high tech or progressive companies seem to get frustrated working here from the narrow minded, top down, do it sr. mgt. only way approach.
