Pros

Decent health insurance and there is a lot of people that made the place bearable.

Cons

PTO policy sucks, leadership needs a massive overhaul, toxic work environment continues and nobody wants to listen to employee concerns, the lower level employees are always the scapegoat because leadership won’t take accountability, workload overwhelming and they think changing process every month will help that but it doesn’t, they have an open door policy but it doesn’t help anything because you still have managers and team leads treating the employees under them poorly, no job security, unhappy clients because everyone is so busy they can’t give client proper care and leadership blames everyone but themselves, blindsided and laid off a great portion of employees last year and made them sign forms that they wouldn’t speak negatively about the company, no payout of PTO that you EARNED when you leave, they keep track of every little task you do daily but say they trust you but in reality they just want to figure out how to put more work on you, the compensation is low for industry standards and for the large loads of work they put on you and work-life balance has become non-existent. And if you want big flashy clients and campaigns, this isn’t the agency to work at. The amount of amazing workers that have voluntarily left Level over the last year should speak volumes on they decline of their culture.

Pros

Level is a company with a lot of heart and a lot of ambition. The people here genuinely care about doing great work, supporting each other, and building something meaningful. There is a strong culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement, and I’ve seen many examples of people stepping up well beyond their job descriptions to help clients, teammates, and the business succeed. The company has grown a lot, including through acquisitions, and that has created real opportunity for people who want to grow with it. There is a strong focus on performance, results, and getting better every day, but also a real effort to do things the right way. Leadership is generally accessible, the company communicates more transparently than most places I’ve seen, and there is a clear desire to keep improving the employee experience as the business scales. It’s also an exciting time to be here. The agency is pushing hard into AI, better systems, stronger processes, and deeper client impact. For someone who wants to be part of a growing, evolving company rather than a static workplace, Level offers a lot.

Cons

Growth brings growing pains, and Level is no exception. As the company has scaled, some processes, systems, and communication rhythms have had to catch up to the size and complexity of the organization. That can sometimes create ambiguity, changing priorities, or moments where teams are moving faster than the structure around them. The pace is also not for everyone. This is a performance-oriented environment with high expectations, and people who prefer a slower-moving or highly predictable workplace may find it challenging. There are still opportunities to keep clarifying roles, improving cross-team collaboration, and making sure change is absorbed thoughtfully across the organization.

Pros

The people in your immediate team are great trauma bond partners Benefits are actually good

Cons

"Good enough, isn't?" more like "isn't good enough" Level is only interested in growth and posturing that they are a big agency. Level would rather have an agency summit in Las Vegas over multiple days than give their employees raises or hire more people to make our day-to-day more bearable. Any positive reviews of this place is made by someone who drank the Kool-Aid and is a part of this weird, corporate-bro cult. Drowning in work? So is everyone else and that obviously is not managements problem. "Maybe try a new AI workflow? You obviously need to figure out how to make it work on your own time. Why would we help you?" - management
