Joining Lethub a year ago was the worst decision I've made in my career. The CEO is very toxic and micromanages every part of the company. He often lies about the work culture, which is actually harmful because of how he behaves. Even though he talks about having a positive environment, he creates a stressful and unprofessional workplace by setting unrealistic deadlines, often making employees work long hours to finish tasks that should take much more time. The quality of work at Lethub is also not up to the mark if you're someone who wants to learn and grow. I suggested multiple times that we should focus more on code quality and implement better processes to improve it. But, I always felt like the CEO's only goal was to complete work as quickly as possible. He discouraged spending time on important tasks like writing unit tests, refining code, or refactoring. Despite this, he constantly demanded bug-free work. It's unreasonable to expect high-quality, bug-free code when you're forcing developers to complete tasks in one day which should take multiple days. Even if you work really hard and give up your personal time to meet his demands, your efforts go unnoticed. There is no appreciation or recognition for the hard work you put in. On top of that, the CEO is very unprofessional in how he talks to employees, often using abusive language and acting like he’s never wrong. When I resigned, I faced more problems. He withheld part of my final salary, cutting my pay for the leaves I took during the year. He claimed these would only count as paid leaves if I stayed a full year—something that was never part of my contract or communicated to me. To make matters worse, despite repeated attempts to contact him for my experience letter over the last two months, he has completely ignored my emails and I still haven’t received my experience letter. I would not recommend working at Lethub to anyone.
