Pros
I was grateful for the experience I gained working here earlier on in my career. The CEO was kind and respectful to me, and I appreciated how approachable he was. The HR head is a lovely person. Also, free snacks!
Cons
I ostensibly worked in marketing, but felt very excluded by marketing leadership and other managers. They cultivated a very "Mean Girls" atmosphere. No one seemed invested in helping me grow as an employee or as a person in my career, and I felt pointedly left out of conversations that I probably should have been involved in. Honestly, I think they were glad when I left. CEO sees himself as an enlightened, ex-Wall St. guy, but has the same old conservative beliefs and management style under the mindfulness veneer. He was very susceptible to tech bro propaganda and had a troubling idolization of Elon Musk. He was very excited to hop on the NFT train, and from what I've seen in all their recent ad campaigns, they seem to have gone all in on AI creative. It makes for a strange dissonance between the humanism you would hope for from the brand mission and the real actions of the company.
