Pros

Worked here before (won't disclose time frame). Okay, here are the goods about the company. - They offer a great opportunity to make a lot of money. Yes you have to put in work at 100%, but the opportunity is legit. -They people are generally friendly towards you when you are new. Seasoned workers just vibe with each other like family (sort of) -In the mornings, it can get fun depending on the person. They play 'energy' games to keep the spirit up for what they call the 'field'. -Now the field is the door-to-door part (don't run yet lol). Despite stereotypes, they make it fun, especially if you're cooperating as a coworker. You get systems to learn so when you're out in the field, using those systems get you results quick (sometimes). -It is definitely possible to make $1000 in a day (if you have "Student Mentality", "Work Ethic", and a "Great Attitude"). It's commission based, so YOU make your paycheck (look at it how you want). -You get to travel! (If you put in the work). I love traveling and it was one of my favorite parts of the job. -Networking. Even if eventually you decided to stay/go, the people you meet at other offices, residency, conferences, etc opens up new possible opportunities for you. Take advantage of networking. -Bonuses. These ones vary, but bonuses in this particular company can come out of nowhere (even through the 'energy games'). I liked that i could make an extra $100 off of something irrelevant lol. That's all I got.

Cons

*sighs* here go the negatives. Stay with me. -Commission risk. It is strictly this. No salary or hourly pay. So if you have bills that NEED to be paid, you may have to wait a good month or two before a good check comes (if you can make a good check). Work hard ! - Inconsistent Professionalism. I won't delve into EVERYTHING but some days, we were strictly professional, and some days...people weren't. Let your imagination take you wherever. It was crazy. -In company relationships. Treating the crew as a family is fine to an extent. HOWEVER, some people decide to take their relationships up further (again...imagination). This goes back into inconsistent professionalism as well. -The Manager/Owner. I respect the guy, I really do. However, he is still young minded and talks big game. He does act professional when he wants to be looked at as such, but he can belittle people in some ways that maybe he doesn't realize what he is saying. His leadership skills is subpar. Afraid of confrontation lowkey (especially when he is in the wrong, but boasts confidence that can get a little bighead). He looks at people as numbers instead of people. I'm not going to say anymore as I don't want to sound bias on anything. -Training. Let's be real, the training could be better. This company is aiming to produce managers capable of running their own business, and when it comes to training, a lot of misinformation is being spread like wildfire. THIS is partially why a lot of people don't grow in this company. -You have to pay for EVERYTHING. You have a car? Prepare to put some mileage of that thang! Seriously even though I get the whys behind it, the bottom line is that you have to pay for gas, you're professional (sometimes expensive)attire, food for when the team goes out as a group, etc. The manager may be generous from time to time and order wings or whatever but that's it. If you're training, you have to "split" applications that you sell with the trainee if they did partial work. When you develop a crew of your own (you'll learn about this), be prepared to help pay for their lunch, gas, etc. -Ugh....Paychecks. This is the worst one because I wasn't the only one dealing with this. Again, brief details. You know how you can make $1000 in a week? Well how would you feel if you come to payday, and OWE money to the company, because your sale quality was bad? Well it was possible and completely legal/legit. I won't get into details because it's too much. -Shady business. I'm not saying LMG itself is shady. I'm saying some of the practices are. They put up ads saying all these positions that beat around the bush of what REALLY going on *cough cough DOOR TO DOOR cough*. They interview and leave the interviewees confused about the position. (I get the whys, but outsiders don't). Pay scale is shady too. I had too many new guys/girls asking how they get paid, when that should be established through paperwork clearly. That's why a lot of people come in fast, and leave fast. That's all I'm saying. Sorry management if you feel a way

Pros

The Office environment is close-knit like a family and everyone is willing to offer their services when you are in need, as long as you come forward and ask.

Cons

Should switch to Agile methodology instead of using Waterfall

Pros

Was working at the company for a little over a year. Writing this to give REAL insight to what its like working there. The interview is clear if you are actually paying attention and know business dialect. It is a marketing and sales company. They working with a big ENERGY client. In the mornings (11:30AM-1:30PM) it is in office meeting, training and development to become a legit MANAGER. Yes, a manager. In the afternoons (2PM-8PM) you go talk to people and customer aquire for the ENERGY client. It is residential, so if you like the outdoors and wanna shed a couple pounds this is great. You get to take a break in the middle of the afternoon like 5PM (for like 30 min). Its actually nice... your not supervised, no one is hounding you and telling you your break it over. If you are a responsible adult, you get back to work. You get paid commission, so you make your money by customer aquiring. You get the best training to do that, and its very very easy.. (everyone uses electricity) if you don't pick up on it or complain you cannot make money its because you are not actually working or are a very bad student. (Go work somewhere you don't have to talk to people.. like stocking night-shift at Walmart). If you can't handle commission either because you have "bills" trust me we ALL have bills. You just either choose to make money on commission or you choose not to. If you can't handle not trading your time for money, not the place for you.. (Go work hourly wages). The cool thing about the commission at the company is that there is NO cap, and they give GREAT bonuses ranging from $125-$450, a WEEK. Oh, the pay is weekly btw. The managers will not hire you if they don't think you can actaully make money. Not to worry. Now the culture is a YOUNG adult culture, its VERY energetic and all the coworkers get pretty close, after first couple of weeks your bonded into a working family. If your looking for a work environment that offers GROWTH, and a fast paced learning environment, and your not scared of sales and want management in the long term this is the place for you. There is also A LOT OF FREE TRAVELING (: I've been from coast to coast with the company. And networked with a lot of successful entrepreneurs because of this.

Cons

Still with me here? The downsides of the company is sometimes because the managers are busy conducting interviews or training others you don't get as much one on one time with them as you would like, but this is a meet halfway kind of business. SO if you don't reach out to them, they won't reach out to you because there will be a BUNCH of other people that are actually trying to reach out to them.. now in regards to the turnover and the employees that are let go of, or decide to leave on their own accord. It's not for everyone, if it were EASY everyone would do this business. So whoever left on a salty note, its HONESTLY because they were drama ridden people that didn't apply themselves to LEARN how to do the sales and make money. Also didn't care about their management opportunity in the future.. it's OKAY though. The company replaces people in 2 second because there is always someone more ambitious walking through the door.
