Pros

For warehouse workers the hours are incredibly long in the summer and they expect you to work a ton of hours when things are busy but you do get paid overtime. They do give end of year bonuses and nice parties so if you don't mind having monotonous days most of the year you will get to break up the misery in December. They previously refused to allow people to work from home but have loosened up some since people quit over it. It might change for the better but the needed changes will require drastic things to happen.

Cons

LensRentals is a terrible place to work if you have ever had another professional job. If you've only ever worked in a Memphis warehouse for little pay then you may be happy here because it is a step up from that. Otherwise, beware. I hope it may improve since many have quit due to hating it but this review is based on what exists not what it could be. Managers are in place mainly due to tenure with the company. Most have very little managerial skills and run off employees until they get only passive people. There is little room to move up and you won't be one of those managers. In half a decade I saw no one promoted to a manager position. (Unless was in the website development department which operates as a separate company entirely... so maybe?) Most moves for good employees will end up lateral because none of the inner circle managers plan to leave unless they are pushed to the point their body breaks down. HR appears incompetent but covers up most mistakes or just doesn’t care. Witnessed multiple mistakes that could have cost people thousands of dollars if not caught so double check your stuff carefully because no one else will be looking out for you. There is also a ton of sexist and racist behavior/ undertones that get ignored by HR and leadership. It is clear when salaries are compared they pay women less than men for the same role and black women even less. They have increased diversity in hiring at least but they have a long long way to go here and their default choice still tends to be white male.

Pros

To be honest there aren't too many at this point. Free lunch and breakfast once a week during the busy season?

Cons

Nepotism is rampant, and leadership has been a consistent issue. As LR has grown rapidly over the past two years, these issues have become unbearable. Roles lack clear definitions, and some are inaccurately described, leading to confusion and inefficiency. Consideration for the average employee is virtually nonexistent. Raises are not based on improvement, performance, or any trackable metrics; instead, they are solely determined by the CEO's arbitrary decisions. These raises are laughably below the national average, despite the company servicing the entire U.S. As I type this, I realize the problems are too numerous to mention. If you're a college student looking for a decent job where you can access some cool gear and don't mind mandatory overtime, this might be suitable for you. However, if you have a degree and are seeking a professional environment where you can grow your skills, advance in your career, and be fairly compensated, DO NOT APPLY. Your career will stall, and you may even regress. This is the most unorganized and inconsiderate workplace I have ever experienced. You will be disappointed.
